New At Riv?
First off, we just want to say "hi." Hopefully you will find Riverview a welcome
environment to check out the Christian faith.
While Riverview has been around for almost 30 years, most of our people are younger
than that... 60% of our congregation is under 30 years old. We have a strong college
student presence from Michigan State, Lansing Community College and Cooley Law School.
We are doctrinally conservative, but culturally fluid.
Our music is loud and varied, from blue grass to rock to anything between. We serve
gourmet coffee during our five services with about 2000 folks attending during an average
weekend.
We also have five pastors (instead of a Senior Pastor), so the teachings can be pretty
varied depending on who is teaching on any given weekend.
We are a pretty casual church, so feel free to wear jeans and leave the piercings in.
But if you prefer dressing up, knock yourself out, we've got lots of people who do that
too.
Our services times are always conveniently located below the menu at the left side of
your screen. You can always check back here any time to see the most up to date
service times.
